(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet received Edouard George, President of Phoenix Voyages Group Limited, for a courtesy call and working discussion at the Peace Palace, where the company reaffirmed its commitment to promoting Cambodia's tourism and cultural heritage on the global stage while expanding its long-term investment in the Kingdom..

During the meeting on Thursday morning (Jul. 30), the company president briefed the prime minister on preparations for the 10th Angkor Ultra Trail, scheduled for January 2027. The international endurance race will also mark its 10th anniversary in Cambodia.

He expressed appreciation to the Royal Government and relevant ministries for their continued support in successfully organising the event over the past decade. He also outlined the company's plans to host additional sporting and tourism-related events and further expand its business operations in Cambodia.

George reaffirmed Phoenix Voyages Group's commitment to working closely with Cambodian authorities to promote the country's tourism potential and rich cultural heritage to international audiences, with the aim of attracting more visitors to the kingdom.
