(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Premium Jasmine Rice, Kroya Phka Romduol Jasmine Rice, and Kroya Fragrant Rice won the prestigious Great Taste Awards 2026 in the United Kingdom.

In a message posted on its social media on Monday (Aug. 3), the British Embassy in Cambodia congratulated beneficiaries of the UK Trade Partnerships (UKTP) programme for receiving international recognition for the outstanding quality of their products.

Primalis Corporation Ltd was recognised for its Cambodian Premium Jasmine Rice, praised by judges for its subtle sweetness and complex flavour.

Meanwhile, Khmer Foods Group earned recognition for its Kroya Phka Romduol Jasmine Rice and Kroya Fragrant Rice, celebrated for their excellent taste and quality.

The British Embassy said the awards highlight the growing international reputation of Cambodian rice and underscore the positive impact of the UKTP programme in helping local businesses expand into global markets.
