(Phnom Penh): Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Cambodian Senate President, extended congratulations to Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin, Speaker of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia, and the people of Indonesia on the occasion of the 81st Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence Day, according to a letter seen by Fresh News on Saturday (Aug. 15).
In the letter, Samdech Techo Hun Sen conveyed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to Speaker Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin, the Regional Representative Council, and the Indonesian people on this momentous occasion.
"On behalf of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia and my own behalf, allow me to extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to you, the Regional Representatives Council, and the friendly people of your nation on the momentous occasion of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia."
"I wish to commend the remarkable socio-economic growth that Indonesia has achieved thanks largely to the vision and tireless efforts of its executive and legislative leadership. Recognizing Indonesia's increasing influence in regional and international cooperation, Cambodia stands ready to work closely with Indonesia under our traditional friendship and a shared commitment to promoting peace, prosperity, and stability, in the region and beyond," said Samdech Techo.
Highlighting Indonesia’s remarkable socio-economic growth and expanding role in regional and international cooperation, he expressed Cambodia’s readiness to deepen both bilateral and inter-parliamentary relations.
