(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Senate President and President of the Second Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC-2), Samdech Techo Hun Sen, led a high-level delegation in a royal audience with King Norodom Sihamoni at the Royal Palace on Thursday morning (Aug. 27).

The royal audience took place ahead of the official opening of the Cambodia-hosted ISC-2 and brought together parliamentary leaders and delegates participating in the high-level international gathering.

The meeting reflected the delegation’s respect for the Cambodian monarch and the traditional protocol accorded to the King during major international events hosted by the kingdom.

The royal audience also highlighted Cambodia’s role as host of ISC-2 and its growing engagement in parliamentary diplomacy and international cooperation.

The conference brings together parliamentary leaders and representatives from around the world to promote dialogue, strengthen international law, and advance peace and shared prosperity.
