(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Acting Head of State, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, received EU Ambassador to Cambodia and EU Special Envoy for Myanmar, Driesmans Igor, at the Solidarity Palace on Thursday afternoon (Sep. 24), according to Senate Spokesperson Chea Thyrith.

Samdech Techo welcomed the ambassador and his delegation, expressing pleasure at the opportunity to discuss bilateral cooperation.

The EU ambassador highlighted the EU's continued support for Cambodia, including mine clearance assistance. Samdech Techo thanked the EU for its ongoing support, particularly its contribution to mine clearance efforts.

According to the spokesperson, both sides also exchanged views on regional and global issues.
