(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Acting Head of State Samdech Techo Hun Sen sent a congratulatory letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of the 77th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC), according to a letter seen by Fresh News on Saturday (Sep. 26).

In the letter, Samdech Techo offered his heartfelt congratulations on behalf of the Senate, the Cambodian People's Party, and the people of Cambodia.

"I commend the leaders of the People's Republic of China across generations, who have always demonstrated extraordinary vision, resilience, and steadfast dedication to the well-being of their people and Great Rejuvenation of the nation,” Samdech Techo wrote.

“The achievement of China's First Centenary Goal under the leadership of Your Excellency stands as a significant milestone in the nation's great journey and a testament to the enduring dedication and collective efforts of successive leaders that have delivered lasting peace, prosperity, and progress,” he added.

In the letter, Samdech Techo Hun Sen also expressed firm belief that while looking forward with confidence to the realization of the grand aspirations embodied in the Second Centenary Goal, China will continue to play a leading role in promoting peace and sustainable development for the region and the world.

"I am gratified that our longstanding friendship and win-win cooperation continue to be solidified for the best interests of our two nations based on the spirit of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. In this regard, I would like to reaffirm my steady commitment to working closely with Your Excellency to further enhance the depth and scope of our inter-party, inter-parliamentary, and inter-governmental cooperation for the benefit of our All-Weather Cambodia-China Community with a Shared Future in the New Era."
