(Phnom Penh): Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung arrived in Cambodia at 12:30 p.m. on Friday (Oct. 9) for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet.
During the visit, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung will be granted Royal Audiences by King Norodom Sihamoni and Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk at the Royal Palace, according to Cambodian Foreign Ministry’s press release dated 6 October 2026.
The Vietnamese prime minister will also pay separate courtesy calls on Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen and National Assembly President Samdech Khuon Sudary, before holding a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Hun Manet.
The two leaders will discuss ways to strengthen their close relations and expand mutually beneficial cooperation, and exchange views on various regional and international issues of common interest.
Prime Minister Le Minh Hung's official visit will further consolidate cordial relations between Cambodia and Viet Nam, reinforce bonds of solidarity, and reaffirm the shared commitment of the two countries to further strengthen and deepen bilateral ties.
