(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet will pay official and working visits to Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Kazakhstan from 12 to 17 October 2026, and attend the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), according to a press release seen by Fresh News on Saturday (Oct. 10).
Accompanied by First Lady Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, the premier will lead a high-level delegation at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The delegation will include Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Hang Chuon Naron, other senior government officials and members of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce.
Samdech Thipadei will attend the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), to be held on 15 October 2026, and exchange views with other leaders on the theme “Stronger CICA: Connectivity, Digitalisation and Sustainable Growth in Asia”.
On the margins of the summit, Samdech Thipadei is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with heads of delegation from other CICA members to further strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation.
On 16 October, Samdech Thipadei will make a working visit to Türkiye and meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to strengthen the longstanding relations between Cambodia and Türkiye, and exchange views on regional and international issues of common concern.
On 17 October, Samdech Thipadei will be in Astana for official bilateral talks with Kazakhstan's top leadership on promoting bilateral cooperation.
The prime minister's upcoming visits will provide new momentum to strengthen and expand Cambodia’s cordial ties and cooperation with Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Kazakhstan.
